“Our goal is to also work through all of Jackson County’s school districts for the next three weeks. Hopefully Jackson County’s educators will also have their first doses by the end of March, early April, ”said Dr. Jennifer Watts, Emergency Pediatric Medicine, Children’s Mercy.
Truman Medical Center will be responsible for the effort. There are plans to provide vaccination doses to all local Jackson County school districts so teachers and staff don’t have to leave school to get vaccinated.
