KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City subway veterans no longer need to schedule an appointment to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
The Kansas City VA Medical Center announced Monday that all upcoming vaccination clinics will be available for walk-ins.
David Isaacks, director of the KCVA Medical Center, said in a press release that the appointment is still “very encouraged,” but vaccines will also be made available to eligible veterans based on availability.
The first-dose vaccination clinics are held Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the KCVA Honor Annex, 4251 Northern Avenue.
Veterans can still make an appointment by calling 816-922-2619.
