KANSAS CITY, MO. — Earlier this month, CRB elected four new members to its board of directors, of which three represent the company’s first election of non-company members to the board.
Sandy Price, Tim Hannan, Bob Uhler and Shannah Falcone were all appointed, and Paul Skinner was re-elected to serve another term on the board. Price, Hannah and Uhler are all external board members.
“Each of these distinguished leaders brings a wealth of experience that will continue to position CRB as the preeminent provider of planning, design and construction services to clients,” said Ryan Schroeder, president of CRB. “Together, their insights and fresh perspectives will challenge and strengthen us, resulting in continued high value for our clients and rewarding experiences for our employees.”
Price will serve a three-year term as an external independent board member, CRB shared. She also sits on the boards of Evergy and US Infrastructure Company, as well as the NACD Heartland chapter and Kansas City Women Corporate Directors. Price also serves as the co-chair of the United Way of Greater Kansas City’s development council and is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Community College Foundation’s executive committee.
Price retired from Sprint in 2016, where she most recently served as vice president of human resources. She brings notable experience in the areas of business and culture transformation to CRB’s board of directors.
Uhler joins CRB’s board as an external advisory member for a one-year term. He currently serves on several corporate boards in the engineering and construction industry, including TRC, Inc. and Stanley Consultants. Previously, he served as chairman of Great Lakes Dredge and Dock. Uhler also sits on the board of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History and National Portrait Gallery. He will provide strategic and operational advice to CRB leaders.
Both Price and Uhler have been named as Leadership Fellows by the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Hannan will also serve a one-year term as an external advisory board member. He currently serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for News-Press & Gazette company, and the chief financial officer of BERKS Group, a private business investment firm. He brings experience in public accounting, business and financial strategy.
Falcone is currently a senior associate and vice president of strategic account management at CRB and has spent the last 15 years at the company in various client-facing roles. Previously, she held several leadership positions with the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers.
Falcone is a current member of the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) and contributes to the Lean Construction Institute, the Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs and Life Sciences Pennsylvania. Falcone will sit on the company’s board for three years.
Skinner has been a CRB board member since 2017 and has been reappointed to serve another three years. He is currently a senior associate and senior vice president of business performance and enterprise risk at CRB. Prior to that role, he spent nine years leading CRB’s design operations in the northeastern United States. He first joined CRB in 1999 as the pharmaceutical core team leader in Philadelphia. Skinner also sits on the board of CRB Caribe, the company’s Puerto Rican division.
