KANSAS CITY, MO. – A gunfight on Tuesday night wounded a person near an entrance to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas.
The shooting was held on security footage just before 8 p.m. on Cambridge Street near West 39th Avenue.
KU Medical Center police said the suspect involved in the shooting was taken into custody within an hour, according to a hospital spokesman.
The victim was reported in stable condition.
The hospital police worked with officers from Kansas City, Kansas, to locate the suspect.
At this point it is unknown what led to the shootings.
